Hello, Could somebody please tell me how to access media files using this app (I just bought it via AppStore) through Windows Media Player? I can't see the device when I turn on Media Sharing in WMP. I tested iMediaShare that its just for photos, and WMP saw it instantly, but with MediaServer it doesn't see it.

Thank you.

I've been using this for the past month.. I've reviewed the app in the app store, under name DylanDesign.

It's a great tech, but I'm not sure the iPhone is such a terrific (or powerful enough) platform for such a server.

Basically, if I have too many filessub directories uploaded to the server, my PlayStation 3 will not recognise the content - to the extent it just times out when trying to access the server. I know the error is on the mediaservers end, and not the PlayStation's, because other mediaserver softwares have demonstrated the very same issue on windows and OSX playforms (on desktop serversPC's). This issue has been amended by fixes on the server's software, not the PS3's.

Moreover, the ftp upload tends to drop out constantly, and I have to restart the mediaserver app to get a connection again - causing glitches in the files I upload. This app is overdue for an update and extra features.

I have, however, managed to upload and play a couple of avi movies.

Dylan
