Record A Teleseminar Or Phone Call For Podcast - Here's How!
Posted on 8:03 am by Paul ColliganAnyone who has created content via teleseminar knows to value of the content created. The next logical step for many is the recording of that content for distribution via other channels - like the Podcast!
Here are three ways to record a teleseminar:
Hire it out. The value will always be in the content, not in the tech that records or presents it. There ain't a company I know of that charges more to record than your content is worth. When I hire it out, I use Recorded Moments, and I recommend you do the same.
Use a service. Many of your bridge lines have the option to record your event. I recommend, strongly, PhoneandWebcast.com.
Use some hardware. If you absolutely must do it yourself, there is very affordable equipment out there that can help you get a very "decent" sounding recording. Before I recommend a vendor, I have to strongly remind you that you're main job is CREATING THE CONTENT, not saving a few bucks on the recording. With that said and done, Mike Stewart, the Internet Audio Guy, is the one for you. Peek around his site for the latest offers or give him a call and tell him that "Paul sent you." That's always good for a few bucks off.
BONUS: If you're just looking to do quick audio interviews via phone now and then, PhoneAndWebcast.com is perfect because you can quickly setup a call (from anywhere to anywhere) and get the recording a few seconds after the call is complete.
